Aloha Again!
Hope everyone's week is off to a great start. Thanks so much for all the honest and helpful feedback on the vintage dress. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet, but I am leaning toward restyling it into a skirt. Time will tell. On to something new!
I was certain, when I originally made New Look 6098, that I would want to make it again. Last time I didn't use a fabric I was in love with, but this time I did. I found this rayon knit at Marcy Tilton's website. I only wish I had ordered enough for a dress. However, I am thrilled I had enough to make the tunic. Creating this look was a breeze, because I already had all the fit issues worked out. You can read about them in the original post by clicking on the New Look 6098 link above if you are interested. I absolutely love this fabric it's gorgeous and lovely as a tunic! It's always such a pleasure to make something when all the annoying fit issues are worked out and you can just sew!
