And look we did! Several pumpkins came home with us from Kula Country Farms. They were instantly transformed into crude Jack-O-Lanterns, which hastily liquefied in the hot sun, looking even more ghoulish than the day they were carved the moment before collapsing into a pile of mush. Oh well...it was fun while they lasted.
Not one to cry over pumpkin mush, I've moved on...to my Next Project. Here is a sneak peek of some of the details so far. Stay tuned, I hope to have the final reveal in a couple of days.

OK, that's interesting. Such a different take on Hawaii, from the waterfalls, flowers and ocean views. Pumpkin farms-who wouldda' thought!
That is a pretty photo! I grew up in a beach town, and most people don't remember that real life (farms, hardware stores etc) go on behind the scenes.
I think I have guessed what pattern you are using!!
I bookmarked the baby hem technique as it isn't something I have done in the past (more - lots of careful ironing and then sewing). I don't have anything I am sewing that requires it now so I am saving it for later. The great thing about reading blogs is hopefully picking up a trick or two to make things easier - or prettier.
We had freezing nights here in Oregon around Halloween so pumpkins quickly turned to 'squash' quickly.
Great photos :-) we don't have orange pumpkins in New Zealand. Your sneak peak looks fab, love the fabric.
I love your pumpkin pictures! And I'm looking forward to getting a good look at your latest garment - it's looking lovely!
Ooooh, now I really want to see what you have made! It looks ver promising!
Lovely photos - and the cutest little hem!
